If You Believe It
(Poems become Invocations)
by David Sky
"I will say it again that while I am not a strong man, I am held in the arms of a great strength. While I am not a wise man, I am blessed by the wisdom of great consul. While my own love is conditional and small like a candle flicking faintly in some unfathomable darkness, I am suffused in the blinding white light of a great love. The sword becomes the weapon to achieve submission and acceptance, self mastery and soul wisdom, and victory comes upon me delivering this human, vulnerable thing that I am into the roaring stream of the Tao itself."
