LD 50 (Lethal Dose 50) is a measurement of the relative lethality of all substances, referring to a dosage at which 50% of those taking it would die and psilocybin stands out extraordinarily as having an LD 50 of Zero. You could eat a salad bowl full and not die – you might well think that you died for a good while afterwards, but you would not. Consider that even water has an LD 50 and can be deadly if taken in sufficient quantity so why then would psilocybin be illegal, I wonder?
As the comedian Bill Hicks pointed out, when one consumes magic mushrooms, they feel a great euphoria, as if they are one with all life, connected to God and that their heart is filled with love and an ecstatic joy and this is not conducive to the machinations of a Fear-Death Cult masquerading as a Nation State.
